Yemen’s Houthi defense speaker Yahya Saree asserted Wednesday that the faction had brought down a Saudi F-15 fighter jet over the Marib zone of Yemen.
Saree expressed Houthi troops deployed a domestic-made surface-to-air rocket to bring down the airplane. He likewise asserted that Houthi troops later opposed Saudi F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets hunting for the fragments and forced them to retreat.
Saree expressed Saudi airplanes had executed more than 450 airstrikes across multiple Yemeni zones during the period, encompassing Marib, Taiz, Lahij, Al-Jawf, Hajjah, Saada and Al-Bayda.
