This comprehensive bilateral strategic blueprint aims to catapult Pakistan’s information technology outbound shipments and its broader electronic commercial ecosystem to a valuation of $30 billion by the year 2030.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally observed the formal endorsement of this historic pact, which was signed by Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Secretary Zarrar Hasham Khan alongside Google’s Regional Chief of Public Policy for South and Southeast Asia David Weller during a formal celebratory gathering organized specifically to welcome the visiting corporate representatives.
The comprehensive program outlines several core pillars, including the distribution of Google Career Certificates, the provision of specialized Gemini platform subscriptions for learners, the creation of a physical Google AI Centre of Excellence, and the incubation of specialized mobile software development and electronic gaming ventures. Furthermore, it covers the optimization of electronic financial transaction frameworks alongside the automated modernization of state administrative bodies and industry-specific artificial intelligence models.
According to the specific clauses of the compact, the technology corporation intends to allocate roughly 150,000 professional technical certifications to Pakistani youngsters throughout the course of 2026, granting them highly lucrative, industry-standard capabilities in specialized sectors. The tech giant also intends to evaluate the possibility of scaling this educational rollout across subsequent years to aggressively generate new corporate employment opportunities.
The corporation will similarly evaluate ways to supply sophisticated machine learning utilities—offering a minimum of twelve months of complimentary access to premium suites like Google AI Plus and Gemini Notebook—to empower students across the territory in their higher education and empirical research endeavors.
