Jemima Goldsmith, the former spouse of former premier Imran Khan, has wed Irish-Australian entrepreneur Cameron O’Reilly, the Daily Mail asserted.
Jemima, 52, and O’Reilly, 62, exchanged pledges over the weekend, with Goldsmith’s sibling Ben Goldsmith verifying that the pair had got wed last night, the journal documented.
O’Reilly constitutes the son of the late Irish media tycoon and former international rugby competitor Sir Anthony O’Reilly.
He possesses four offspring, while Jemima possesses two sons, Kasim and Sulaiman, from her wedding to Imran Khan, the creator of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The Mail earlier documented that Jemima’s close family participants, encompassing her sibling Robin Birley, recognize O’Reilly very well.
They, as per the UK-based journal, expressed that the pair met through employment and shared a friendship for a duration before starting to date, as O’Reilly remains “a very private individual and Jemima is resolved to protect that”.
The Oxford graduate O’Reilly spent a decade shaping his occupation within his father’s media corporation, Independent News & Media, before moving to the Australian bloc APN News and Media and stepping down from his function as chief executive in 2000.
Within three years, he initiated his own firm by launching a private fund supplying company and then purchased the Swiss metering firm.
Jemima, the daughter of late billionaire financier Sir James Goldsmith, remains actively campaigning for the release of former spouse Imran, the father of her two sons. The former pair had declared their separation in 2004.
Imran, a former cricket captain, has been in penitentiary since 2023 in connection with corruption lawsuits, which he refutes.
